For a period of six months, I worked with Alturas, a nonprofit rescue and rehabilitation center located in the southern Pacific region of Costa Rica. They are dedicated to rehabilitating injured, orphaned, and displaced wildlife while raising awareness about the importance of conservation. By visually communicating the sanctuary’s mission, daily operations, and conservation values, my work aimed to educate audiences and increase engagement. Especially educating local communities about human impact on wildlife plays a vital role in effective conservation.
